HYPNOTHERAPY

Hypnotherapy is a form of therapy that uses hypnosis, or an altered state of consciousness, as a means to address psychological and behavioural issues. The goal of hypnotherapy is to help individuals access their subconscious mind and make positive changes to their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

During a hypnotherapy session, the individual is guided into a state of relaxation and deep concentration by a trained hypnotherapist. In this state, the individual is highly suggestible, and the hypnotherapist may make suggestions designed to address the individual’s specific issues.

Examples of issues that can be addressed through hypnotherapy include anxiety, depression, stress, phobias, pain management, habit and addiction, and weight management. Hypnotherapy may also be used to improve performance in areas such as sports, public speaking, and academic achievement.
